Picture Day - Monday, September 14 & Monday, September 21

Cornerstone Photography will be on-campus on Monday, September 14th and Monday, September 21st for student pictures. Please follow the designated schedule so that we stay in compliance with social distancing mandates. The schedule is based on your child's last name, so come to our school campus during your assigned date and time. Photos will be taken and approximately 2-3 weeks after picture day, you will receive an email link to view and order your child's portraits online with a secure personal access code. All orders are placed online and shipped directly to your home. There will be no exchange of paper order forms, cash, checks, or portraits on campus. Please click HERE to view the flyer.

Yearbook Needs Your Help!!

The yearbook class is in need of photos.  Each week, we will be collecting photos from parents, students, and/or community members based upon a different "assignment".  Please use the links below to submit a photo.  For each "assignment" please limit your submission to only one photo per child.  If you have more than one child, please submit a different form for each child. Thank you so much for your help!


Assignment #1: Share a picture of you (the student) or your child in their workspace at home where they Zoom with their teachers or complete the classwork.


Assignment #2: Share a picture of you (the student) or your child on their first day of school.

In order for all students (K-12) to pick up textbooks on Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19, the following forms need to be filled out by a parent. If your child does not have these forms ready, parents will have to wait in another line to fill out these forms prior to waiting in the textbook line.

3)Parent Acknowledgement Form for Devices

4) Media Release Form (English) / Media Release Form (Spanish)
5) Proof of Parent Schoology Account (Printed Screenshot)

Marwa Mulk, Lake Balboa’s nominee for the 2020 Warren Christopher Scholarship, has been named as one of recipients in the District-wide competition.


Mulk, the first Lake Balboa College Prep student to receive the scholarship will receives $5,000 a year for four years (totally $20,000) to help cover post-secondary educational expenses.


Every LAUSD high school nominates one tenth grader each spring semester. Up to 15 Warren Christopher Scholars are selected each year. The Warren Christopher Scholarship Awards are granted annually to exceptional sophomores from high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Scholarship criteria include academic promise, community service, and financial need.
