About Me:

I began my career after having discovered that as a parent, I was happiest when I was with my child, his peers and involved in his education.  I was attending college at the same time and began to work as a Special Education Assistant. To make a long story short, my son and I graduated from California State University on the same day!  I received my Master's Degree and he his Bachelor's Degree.

I decided that I would pursue a career as a Special education teacher because I knew that I could understand the adversity that a child must face when he has a disability and I wanted to help them to succeed.  I know that each child has potential and I want to help them to fulfill their educational goals. As a secondary Resource Teacher it is my dream that every child graduate from high school, and either continue on to college or pursue lifelong goals.
