A Message from Mindy Park

Assistant Principal's Message

Dear Lake Balboa College Preparatory Magnet K-12 Families,

My name is Mindy Park and I have the honor of serving the students, teachers, and families at Lake Balboa College Prep Magnet K-12.  I have over 18 years of extensive educational experience serving diverse populations across the San Fernando Valley, including full Magnet schools, a Pilot school, and two Spans schools. The students we serve come to us with unique life circumstances and academic pressures and it is my belief that collaborative leadership in a caring infrastructure is the key to their success. Over the years, I have learned the value of securing external networks and partnerships with the staff, parents, and the community to educate the whole child.

On a personal note, I am proud Bruin. I am also the mother of four very unique children, including two who are twins. I can empathize with parents that raising children in this digital age is probably one of the greatest joys and challenges in life. The partnership between the school and home is critical to student success, thus my door is always open to support the families of Lake Balboa. Please swing by Support Services office to make an appointment with me or email me at mindy.park@lausd.net.

Sincerely,

Mindy Park

Assistant Principal
